A New Rating Scale for Deliciousness

We’ve decided, both for reasons and in celebration of Jane Austen’s 250th birthday this year, to adopt a new rating scale for deliciousness at 36 Eggs:

  • Misery of the Acutest Kind: Absolutely inedible. We couldn’t even finish a bite.
  • Odious: We hated it.
  • Disagreeable: We did not like it.
  • Tolerable: It was okay.
  • Handsome Enough to Tempt Me: We liked it.
  • Ardent Admiration: We loved it.
  • You Pierce My Soul: True love. It was magical. A once-in-a-lifetime experience.

P.S. We first tried to make a scale out of Anneisms but failed because, as we all know, she either LOVES or HATES, with not a lot of degrees of feeling in between. Here’s how far we got:

  • Perfect Graveyard of Buried Hopes: Absolutely inedible. We couldn’t even finish a bite.
  • Depths of Despair: We hated it.
  • ?: We did not like it.
  • ?: It was okay.
  • ?: We liked it.
  • Perfectly Scrumptious: We loved it.
  • Love-Rapture of Countless Generations: True love. It was magical. A once-in-a-lifetime experience.
